Wate is a new processing plant established in 2019, located in Hambela in Guji, a large producing area in Ethiopia; although Hambela is classified as The Guji production area is only 75 kilometers away from the Yirgacheffe production area, and because of the special geographical location, the coffee produced has a unique regional flavor. The Huadie processing plant (Wate) is located in a remote location. It takes another three hours to drive away from the main road of local traffic to arrive. The road conditions along the road are quite difficult. During the period, we will purchase fruits from coffee farmers who cultivate nearby farmlands at an altitude of 2200-2500 meters. Due to the high altitude, the fruit harvest time is a full month slower than other production areas. It is precisely because of this altitude that, A unique micro-climate is created, which makes the flavor of coffee more distinctive; coupled with the fact that high-altitude coffee grows slowly, green beans essentially have more sucrose content than coffee at lower altitudes.
