Estate profile /
The Rivas Processing Plant is a micro-processing plant owned by the family of Mr. Régulo Gerardo Ureña Chacón, which started growing coffee 26 years ago in an area of about 1550 meters above sea level.
The microclimate and geography create high-quality coffee, and the green beans are processed 100% sun-dried without the aid of a dryer.
The family currently owns 4 estates, all of which are micro estates of less than 10 hectares, with less output and easier to work slowly. In addition to insisting on ecological farming methods,
The virgin forest planted fruit trees for shade, ecosystem protection, wild plant conservation, and water resources protection.
