El Silencio comes from a carefully selected farmer community of suppliers, and only coffee with a unique flavor will be selected for this micro-lot. This batch of coffee is grown in a small town called Palestina in Huila Province in southwestern Colombia, on a highland of about 1,700 to 2,200 meters above sea level. The town of Palestina is located in the southern part of the Huila department of Colombia. The area is surrounded by mountains and national parks, including Cueva De Los Guacharos, which spans the provinces of Huila, Caquetá and Putumayo. Palestina's microclimate is ideal for growing coffee, as the trees receive excellent shade.
Coffee farmers in this production area cooperate and help each other to cultivate more than 100,000 hectares of coffee. The Vera production area is mostly made up of small farmers, and its high-quality micro-batch coffee occupies a place among the world's specialty coffees. Because of its outstanding flavor and aroma, it has become a well-known coffee producing area in the world. It has a pleasant flavor, a balanced and pure aftertaste, and has been often selected by major coffee competitions in recent years.
